Send one file. No account.
Sometimes you need VitalSend once. A signed contract on its way to a lawyer. A passport scan. A file that should not exist anywhere else tomorrow.
Until now, that one send started with creating an account. You can now skip that step.
How it works
- Pick your file and set the options, including the extra password if you want one.
- Press the send button. In the window that opens, choose Pay once & send.
- Pay. You come back to the send page.
- Pick the file again. The browser cannot carry it through the payment page, so it asks you once more.
- The file is encrypted and uploaded. Share the link with your recipient.
We do not ask you to create an account, or for your name or email address.
What it costs
| File size | Price |
|---|---|
| Up to 1 GB | €2.50 |
| Up to 10 GB | €3.50 |
| Up to 100 GB | €5.50 |
| Up to 1 TB | €9.50 |
| Extra password | +€1 |
VAT is included, you see the exact price before you pay, and you can download a receipt when the send is done.
If you send files regularly, an account with a plan costs less per send. The pricing page has the numbers.
What did not change
The file is encrypted in your browser before it leaves your device. The key travels in the link and never reaches us. One download, then the file is destroyed.
Why we built it
Being asked to create an account is one of the most common reasons people give for abandoning a purchase online. In the Baymard Institute's checkout research, 18% of US shoppers who abandoned a checkout name it, not counting those who were just browsing.
For a service that exists to keep nothing, asking you to leave something behind before your first send was the wrong way round.
